About these Sessions
Through Sound Readers Power Hours, Martha facilitates collaborative learning spaces where educators deepen their understanding of evidence-based reading instruction and the unique challenges faced by students with dyslexia, ADHD, and DLD (Developmental Language Disorder).
These sessions prioritize dialogue and inquiry in a judgement-free environment where curiosity is celebrated, and questions are always welcome. Educators explore the science of reading, the science of learning, and the art of implementation from trusted resources from "LetsGetReadingRight.com", and from trusted organizations like the Ontario branch of the International Dyslexia Association, ONLit, and Dyslexia Canada.
The goal of these sessions is to make learning to read easier, more effective, and genuinely more enjoyable—for both students and the educators who teach them.
